Dumb & GNARBOOTS

Merry belated Christmas!

After I checked out Aaron De La Cruz's art gallery at Cukui (love his artwork! check out his stuff: http://www.aarondelacruz.com/ ), I had a ridiculous moment bumping into Dumbfoundead and Orly (owner of Cukui)! Special thanks to Danny! :) I was able to share my Monsta Goch the Whale stickers with them and Danny took a photo with Dumb and me! I was overjoyed with sharing my art with them and to see Dumb again! Thanks again!

For the past couple of weeks, I worked on a short animation for the band, GNARBOOTS. I fell in love with their song, KungFu Tacos, I just had to make a video for it.

This “animation” took a lot longer than it should have (Adobe Photoshop 7.0 & Windows Movie Maker)… but I’m glad I finally finished it! Taco butt. థ౪థ

Heartful: Korean Culture Night @ UC Davis [Clara C, Dumbfoundead, & DJ Zo]

5.25.2011 Heartful: Korean Culture Night @ UC Davis

This was Hansori (Korean Drumming Club @ UC Davis)'s last performance... ever.
Most likely the club will die unless some sort of miracle happens in this quarter or over the summer... Highly unlikely.
The performance went well- everyone was great! I love you guys!

Clara C, Dumbfoundead, and DJ Zo were the special performers of the night. Mickey Cho, MK Modern, Fong Tran, Ben and the Shooting Stars also performed. Seriously, everyone performed very well. We all had a fun night! GREAT JOB, EVERYONE!

After the show, I was able to meet all the guests. hahaha... For those who don't know, I'm a huge fan of Dumbfoundead and DJ Zo since 2009. I drew fanart for them and made a personal fan letter for Dumbfoundead. They seemed to really like my drawings! I had an awesome time. It was a very memorable moment for me.
